Percussion day!
Meg Thomas, from the Steely Dan tribute band Katy Lied, brought an amazing collection
of percussion instruments and set up to record in the Sabin foyer. Her work
can be heard throughout the Mike Beck CD.
Jake Niemiec made his professional recording debut on the Mike Beck CD, contributing
tambourine and djembe drum to the recording of A Little Sunshine (for Randee).
This was also the day that Mike and Andy lost a critical hard drive during the
middle of performing a backup... We were scared! Fortunately, the drive was
able to be restored just a couple days later (Thanks Rich Maisel!).
