The Harrish Inn
Gramsbergen, the Netherlands
November 9, 2002

The Harrish Inn is one of the warmest, most friendly places you can visit. Proprietors Rik and Rita Schutte totally took care of us. I performed here solo during my first tour of the Netherlands in November of 2001. It was great coming back.

Even though Beans' bassplayer Drew Frink wasn't going to arrive until Sunday morning, drummer Jason Giron was already in country, so we weren't going to let him go to waste sitting on the sidelines. A quick call to Piet Tromp, bassplayer from the Dutch blues-rock powerhouse Half Past Midnight, rounded out our rhythm section for the night.

In September, I produced a live recording session for Half Past Midnight at Paragon Studios in Chicago. The HPM: Live In Chicago CD has been released to an enthusiastic reception in Holland and Germany, and the US release is scheduled for Spring of 2003. I first met Piet during the brief HPM US tour that preceded their Chicago recording session. This guy smokes the bass... That's a fact.
